Normal School

Santa Dorothea College

At Normal I studied Lowenfeld in its Spanish edition with d. Raquel Guimarães Alves who was the mother of my colleague Maria Bernadette. We created the project “Escolinha Colorida” that brought art workshops to children from the old primary school. It was an innovative group. Imagine the gown was turquoise blue!

4th. Santo Amaro State Gym, today Prof. Maria Petronila Limeira dos Milagres Monteiro State School.

I won the drawing made by Masao Ukon for a wedding. In it appears the old school, Maria Antonia Massao who was his wife and my colleague, along with Vera Ligia Gibert, in this first experience in public school. My students interviewed Julio Guerra, sculptor of “Borba Gato”

In the Art and Decorative Techniques Course at the Fireplace, two great challenges: teaching Visual Communication in 1971 when we only had Arnheim's book in Spanish edition; and give classes to students who are much older than me and with a huge cultural background. A good learning to teach for and with adults.
